I got mail yesterday.... regarding my application to the summer job, here's what it said.

Thank you for applying to the Rogers Park YES ( Youth Employment Strategies ) Summer Jobs Program. Earlier this spring, Rogers Park YES teamed with Mayor Daley's Chicago Kid Start Program and business leaders to find summer job opportunities for youth living in the Rogers Park community. Employment application deadlines for both programs were Friday, April 29, 2005.

Your completed applications for the ROgers Park YES and the Kid Start Programs staisfy the first step of a two step process for summer employment. Congratulations! The next and second step to employment for the Rogers Park YES Summer Jobs Program is to select and complete a one week employment readiness training program.

The one week training program will be held daily after school - Monday through Friday - from 330 to 540pm at Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus, with the exception week two (5/16 to 5/20/05) where students will be bused from Sullivan High School (The Loyola Lake Shore Campus to Loyola's Water Tower Campus in downtown Chicago). You must make a reservation by selectiong your training session preference from one of the four consecutive weeks outlined on the enclosed reservation form. Training reservations are limited and available on first come, first serve basis.

It is mandatory that you reserve your spot today in the Rogers Park YES Job Rediness Training session by making your selection immediately and returning to the completed form to:  ADDRESS HERE

Completion of the training session will enhance, but not guarantee your summer employment goal. Please contact us with questions or for additional information regarding the upcoming Rogers Park YES Summer Jobs Program."

Wow ..... what a load of bull crap =| I have to take "Training" sessions.. wtf! Just gimme the damn money! -0-
